<p>A method for processing a carrier frequency and a Base Station (BS) thereof are provided in the present invention. The method includes: a BS determining that a state of a carrier frequency changes to the state which results in that the base band power of the carrier frequency is turned off; the BS initiating a frequency change handover for established calls on the carrier frequency; the BS determining that the frequency change handover is completed and turning off the base band power output of the carrier frequency. With the present invention, to the mobile communication system, the influence of the turnoff state of the carrier frequency, which is possibly due to the carrier frequency failure or turnoff and so on, is reduced.</p> |
