<p>Even when communication is interrupted due to an unforeseen circumstance, allow verifying the results of a process which is executed while the communication is interrupted. A medical image processing system comprises a server which further comprises a processing unit and an image generating unit. The processing unit executes an application which either carries out the generation or the editing of a medical image, based on an instruction from a client. The image generating unit receives the result of the application processing, generates an image, and distributes same to the client. The server additionally comprises a cut-off sensing unit, a window storage unit, and a window storage control unit. The cut-off sensing unit senses that communication with the client has been interrupted. Treating a timing whereat the cut-off sensing unit senses the interruption of the communication as a reference, the window storage control unit stores a window generated in a prescribed first period in the window storage unit. A window restore unit distributes the window stored in the window storage unit to the client.</p> |
