SELECTIVE RECOVERY METHOD OF GOLD FROM SCRAPPED PRINTED CIRCUIT BOARDS(PCBS)

PURPOSE: A method for selectively recovering gold from PCB(Printed Circuit Board) scraps is provided to prevent the production of cyanide and NO(Nitrogen Oxide) gas by using hydrochloric acid solution for collecting gold from PCB scraps. CONSTITUTION: A method for selectively recovering gold from PCB scraps is as follows. Chlorine gas(16) is produced through electrolysis and provided to a leaching tank(30). PCB scraps(1) are put into the leaching tank and copper is leached through electrolysis. Hydrochloric acid solution is injected again into the solution left after recovering the copper leaching solution and gold is leached in the hydrochloric acid solution. The gold leached solution is provided to an ion exchange resin and gold adsorbed in the ion exchange resin is eluted.
