TRANSFORMED ESCHERICHIA COLI FOR OVER-EXPRESSION OF FATTY ACID BIOSYNTHESIS PATHWAY USING MALONYL-COA AND MALONYL-[ACP] AND METHOD OF PREPARING THE SAME

PURPOSE: An E.coli for overexpression of fatty acid transformed with genes encoding enzymes is provided to ensure high genetic stabilty and to enhance fatty acid production. CONSTITUTION: An E.coli for overexpression of fatty acid is prepared by cotransformation with an expression vector. The expression vector contains: a nucleotide sequence encoding acyl-acyl carrier protein thioesterase; and a nucleotide sequence encoding acetyl-CoA carboxylase, carboxytransferase, alpha subunit, a nucleotide sequence encoding acetyl CoA carboxylase, biotin carboxyl carrier protein(BCCP) subunit, a nucleotide sequence encoding acetyl-CoA carboxylase, biotin carboxylase subunit, or a nucleotide encoding malonyl-CoA-[acyl-carrier-protein] transacylase.
