PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a novel and improved technology capable of reproducing acoustic data while maintaining a volume change which is relatively close to the volume change of original acoustic data and reducing variation in volume among acoustic data, with sound distortion caused by volume amplification being reduced.

SOLUTION: A reproduction device 100 includes a video sound data decoding circuit 130 which reproduces acoustic data, and a compressor circuit 160 which corrects the volume of acoustic data reproduced with the video sound data decoding circuit 130 based on the relationship between the volume characteristic values of a plurality of acoustic data and a volume characteristic value of acoustic data.
