<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a pneumatic tire capable of improving traveling performance on a wet road surface and a snowy road, and a metal mold for vulcanizing the tire. <P>SOLUTION: A plurality of grooves 3, 4 formed at a tread 1 keep a plurality of projections 10 juxtaposed in extending directions. Each of the projections 10 is formed of curved surfaces 10a at one side of a convex surface in which heights from the bottoms of the grooves 3, 4 are gradually increased from one side to the other in the extending direction of the grooves 3, 4, curved surfaces 10b at one side of a convex surface in which heights from the bottoms of the grooves 3, 4 are gradually decreased from one side to the other in the extending directions of the grooves 3, 4, one-side walls 10c formed at a center side in the extending direction of the grooves 3, 4 in the projections 10 to form an angle of 120° or smaller with the curved surfaces 10a at one side, and the other side walls 10d formed at a center side in the extending direction of the grooves 3, 4 in the projections 10 to form an angle of 120° or smaller with the curved surfaces 10b at the other side. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2012,JPO&INPIT |
