The present invention relates to a solid catalyst for the polymerization of propylene and to a method for preparing same, and more particularly, to a solid catalyst for the polymerization of propylene, which can polymerize polypropylene which does not contain substances that are harmful to the environment, and which has excellent stereoregularity with a high yield by using a bicycloalkene dicarboxylate-based internal electron donor, and to a method for preparing the solid catalyst.
