PURPOSE: A credit card usage information providing system using a mobile messenger and method thereof are provided to improve the convenience of a user by enabling the user to receive information related to breakdown through a mobile messenger program. CONSTITUTION: A user information storage unit(110) stores user information for installing a mobile messenger program in a portable terminal by downloading the mobile messenger program. A messenger program storage unit(140) stores a messenger program communicated with the mobile messenger program. An advertisement information storage unit(160) stores advertisement information of a member store interlocked with the member store information of a credit card company.
