摘要 A display device (1) has liquid crystal display panels (11a to 11c) aligned in a horizontal scan direction. The liquid crystal display panels (11a to 11c) constitute one virtual display area (20). A decoder (152) decodes image data, to thereby generate pieces of pixel data having addressees corresponding to the virtual display area (20). A bridge circuit (16) specifies a target (display destination) on which the pixel data is to be displayed on the basis of a parameter table indicating a correspondence between the virtual display area (20) and each of display areas of the liquid crystal display panels (11a to 11c). The pixel data are stored in line buffers (161a to 161c) corresponding to the specified display destinations and outputted to the liquid crystal display panels (11a to 11c). Out of the pixel data (62), pixel data corresponding to a gap (21) formed between two liquid crystal display panels are discarded.
