The device has transmitter (3) and a receiver (4) disposed on the rotor blade (2), where the transmitter and receiver are mounted on a holder (16). The holder has a spring mechanism. The holder is formed such that it results changes of the diameter of the rotor blade. The holder comprises two sections, which are reciprocally pushed. An independent claim is also included for a holder for the transmitter or receiver for determining the deformation of a rotor blade.
