PURPOSE: A hybrid vehicle is provided to effectively respond to the failure of reverse gear shift by varying reverse driving techniques according to driving modes. CONSTITUTION: A hybrid vehicle includes a first clutch plate(22), a second clutch plate(24), a shaft, a dog herb, and a dog sleeve. The second clutch plate intermits power between an internal combustion engine(10) and an electric motor(30). The shaft rotates based on either of the internal combustion engine or the electric motor. A plurality of gears is rotatably arranged at the shaft. The dog herb is arranged at the shaft and rotates with the shaft. The dog sleeve is arranged around the dog herb and rotates with the dog herb. The dog sleeve moves to the dog herb in case of reverse gear shift and is engaged with a reverse gear of the gears.
