PURPOSE: A device for removing foreign materials from a work roll of a skin pass mill is provided to prevent secondary contamination of products caused by the drop of foreign materials from a work roll. CONSTITUTION: A device for removing foreign materials from a work roll of a skin pass mill comprises upper and lower foreign material removing units(100,200). The upper foreign material removing unit comprises a support frame which is arranged in the lateral direction of an upper work roll(300), a moving block which is slid along a longitudinal rail groove of the support frame, and a moving housing which is connected to an actuating motor of the moving block and moved toward the upper work roll. The moving housing includes an upper cleaning belt which removes foreign materials from the surface of the upper work roll. The lower foreign material removing unit comprises a plurality of support rolls which are arranged under a lower work roll, an elevating roll which is moved up and down by a lifting motor toward the lower work roll(400), and a lower cleaning belt which is supported by the support rolls and the elevating roll to support the underside of the lower work roll.
