<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method effectively recovering an alcohol from a liquid mixture containing the alcohol and its ester. <P>SOLUTION: The invention relates to the method for recovering the alcohol from the liquid mixture containing the alcohol and its ester comprising feeding an inseparable or hard to separate vapor composition containing the alcohol and its ester to a membrane separator filled with a zeolite-based membrane at temperature exceeding 120°C under pressure exceeding 0.47 MPa and recovering heat belonging to a membrane-impermeable substance. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT |
