PURPOSE: Coolant supply system and a method for a fuel cell are provided to increase coolant supply for a stack in advance, in case the output of a stack is increased instantly, thereby preventing the increase of temperature difference from an inlet to an outlet inside a stack according to sudden increase of power for fuel cell stack. CONSTITUTION: A Coolant supply method for a fuel cell comprises: a step of inputting output demand for a stack to an upper controller; a step of deciding rotation number command value of an air supplier, according to the output demand for stack in the upper controller; a step of reading the rotation number command value in a supply controller; a step of controlling the rotation number of a coolant supplier on the basis of the rotation number command value in the coolant supply controller.
