The system (1) has a joint (4) positioning a support arm (2) and/or a medical instrument (3), where the medical instrument is fixed on the support arm. The support arm is integrated with a module comprising a light source i.e. LED, an image recording unit, an image display unit, a control unit (8), a sensor for distance, surface scanning and/or recording of environmental conditions, medical devices for use in minimum invasive surgery, a cooling unit and a wireless data communication unit (14). The control unit controls the system and external components. The sensor is designed as a time of flight (TOF) camera, a triangulation sensor, an ultrasound sensor and/or an infrared sensor. |
