<p>The invention relates to a method and an apparatus by which the dialog windows displayed by digital devices are processed, with a view to preventing the user's undesired commands caused by his not having the time needed to notice the new dialog window. According to the invention, the method consists of several processes relating, among other things, to the detection of an interruption event generating a/some new dialog window(s), to the deferred display, the hiding and/or disabling/inactivating of at least one portion of the new dialog window(s) as a consequence of detecting the interruption event, until a signal is received, where the signal may correspond to the expiry of a time interval or to a response action initiated by the user of the digital display. The apparatus claimed by the invention consists of an event detector meant to detect the interruption events, an interface generator meant to generate at least one new dialog window as a consequence of detecting the interruption event and a processor for deferring the display and for hiding and/or disabling/inactivating at least one portion of the new dialog window(s) as a consequence of the detection of the interruption event, until a signal is received, where the signal may correspond to the expiry of a time interval or to a response action initiated by the user of the digital display.</p> |
