PURPOSE: A perovskite catalyst and a method for manufacturing the same are provided to maintain the performance of the catalyst although the content of noble metals is reduced compared to the content of perovskite. CONSTITUTION: A perovskite catalyst is composed of a core layer and a shell layer. The core layer is composed of perovskite materials(ABO_3). The shell layer is noble metal containing perovskite materials which is represented by chemical formula, AB_xM_1-xO_3. In chemical formula, M is noble metals; and x is between 0 and 1. The noble metals are one or more selected from a group including Pt, Pd, Rh, Ir, Os, and Ru. The A component includes 80 wt% or more of La, and the B component includes 80 wt% or more of Co or Mn. |
