PURPOSE: A liquid crystal alignment agent is provided to provide orientation-restraining force of liquid crystal molecules, and to have excellent balance of vertical orientation-restraining force and spreadability. CONSTITUTION: A liquid crystal alignment agent contains a radiation-sensitive polymer having structure in chemical formula A', and additionally contains at least one kind of polymer selected from a group consisting of polyamic acids, and polyimides, but the polymer does not have the structure in chemical formula A'. A forming method of a liquid crystal alignment film comprises: a step of forming a coating by coating the liquid crystal alignment film, and a step of irradiating radiation to the coating. A liquid crystal display device comprises a liquid crystal alignment film formed by the liquid crystal alignment agent.
