PURPOSE: A driving tool and an image forming apparatus are provided to appropriately release heat generated in an electromagnetic clutch. CONSTITUTION: An output unit outputs driving force. An electromagnetic clutch controls the transmission of the driving force to the output unit. A casing comprises a first receiving unit and a second receiving unit(844). The second receiving unit comprises a peripheral wall(845) and support wall(846). The peripheral wall is projected toward outside from the first receiving unit and comprises an upper side wall(848) and a lower side wall(849). The upper side wall is arranged at the upper side of the electromagnetic clutch. An opening unit(841) is formed on the upper side wall.
