The lock adapter (10) has a catheter tube (12) connected with a tube section (16), which extends within another tube section (24), where the latter tube section extends into the adapter. A hollow body-like adapter (30) continuously crosses over a transition between an inner cone (20) and an attachment unit (22). An end section of the hollow body-like adapter is surrounded by a section of a catheter connection (12) with the former tube section, and lies opposite to an input region of the hollow body-like adapter.
