<p>The invention relates to containers having a thin layer of polyvinylidene fluoride polymer or copolymer on its inner and/or outer surface. The polyvinylidene fluoride layer acts as a barrier layer in reducing or preventing the migration of chemicals from thermoplastic or thermoset polymeric containers into the contents of the container. This is especially applicable for containers in the food, biotech and pharmaceutical industries, as well as for toxic or corrosive materials.</p> |
