METHOD FOR COVERING CARBON NANOTUBES WITH A MOLECULAR LAYER OF FE () IN ORDER TO PRODUCE NANOSTRUCTURED POLYMERIC MATERIALS

The invention relates to a method for covering carbon nanotubes with a molecular layer of Fe(III) oxide in order to produce nanostructured polymeric materials. According to the invention, the method consists in introducing the carbon nanotubes into bidistilled water, subjecting the formed mixture of carbon nanotubes to a treatment with ultrasounds in a solution of 1% sodium dodecyl sulphate, introducing 1 M of Fe (III) chloride solution and 1 M of ammonium solution for forming Fe(III) oxide on the surface of carbon nanotubes, subjecting to an ultrasound treatement the suspension of covered carbon nanotubes in order to avoid the agglomeration thereof, successively washing with bidistilled water and absolute ethyl alcohol, successively separating by centrifugation, drying in the drying cabinet followed by milling and storing.
