A toilet seat device is provided with a body (200) which is mounted on the toilet bowl, a toilet seat (400), a toilet seat heater (450), a temperature detection means (401), an adhesive member (403), a compression member (405), and a securing member (408). The adhesive member (403) is adhered to the rear surface of a metallic foil (453) so as to cover a detection section (401a) of the temperature detection means (401). The compression member (405) is secured to an upper toilet seat casing (410) so as to compress the portion of the adhesive member (403) which does not cover the detection section (401a), and the compression member (405) is configured so that, with the adhesive member (403) secured to the upper toilet seat casing (410), the portion of the adhesive member (403) which covers the detection section (401a) is visible when viewed from the rear surface side of the upper toilet seat casing (410). The peripheral edge of the upper toilet seat casing (410) and the peripheral edge (420) of a lower toilet seat casing are joined to each other.
