AIR-CAVITY VESSEL FOR PREVENTING PROPELLER CAVITATION

PURPOSE: An air cavity ship capable of preventing cavitation of a propeller is provided to prevent inflow of air to a propeller side installed in the center of a ship by guiding air to be moved to left and right side air chambers while pitching and rolling the ship. CONSTITUTION: An air cavity ship capable of preventing cavitation of a propeller comprises an air chamber in a flat part at the bottom of a ship. The air chamber is divided into a stem air chamber(10) and a stern air chamber(20) by a partition plate. The stern air chamber comprises a flat part(24). The flat part is formed in the center of a ship width from the stern toward the stem. The height of the flat part is same as the flat part at the bottom of the ship.
