<p>The invention relates to a device for treating a yarn, which can be introduced in a yarn treatment system applicable in the textile industry and to a yarn treatment method. According to the invention, the device comprises a main body (), preferably of cylindrical shape, having a treatment chamber () formed therein, inside which a yarn () slides and at least two lateral channels () in fluid communication with the treatment chamber () for the supply of at least one substance for the treatment of the yarn () and of compressed air, respectively. The system claimed by the invention consists of at least one pipe () for the supply of a device () with a substance employed in the treatment of a yarn (), a pipe () for introducing compressed air into the device () and an outlet pipe () for the discharge of the compressed air and of any fibre possibly detached from the yarn (). The claimed method consists in applying one or several substances on a yarn, inside a device and under controlled vacuum conditions, by a continuous treatment capable of applying said substances on the said yarn in a controlled manner, by subsequently introducing said yarn into a heat stabilization apparatus located outside the device and having the function of fixing the substances on the said yarn.</p> |
