INFRARED SUPPRESSOR OF HELICOPTER

PURPOSE: An infrared suppressor for a helicopter is provided to effectively suppress infrared signals emitting from a helicopter even with minimized size and weight of an infrared suppressor, and to minimize degradation of engine performance by ventilating an engine room without increased back pressure of an outlet. CONSTITUTION: An infrared suppressor for a helicopter(100) comprises an exhaust gas nozzle(110), air intake pipes(121,122), an air induction pipe(130), a diffuser(140), and fairings(151,152). The exhaust gas nozzle guides gas exhausted from an engine of a helicopter into an infrared suppressor. The air intake pipes bring outside air to cool the gas exhausted from the exhaust gas nozzle. The air induction pipe guides the outside air flowed in through the air intake pipes to the rear side. The diffuser mixes the gas and the outside air and exhausts to a specific direction. The fairings blocks that the exhaust gas nozzle and the diffuser are exposed to the outside.
