<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a food container filled with food for sale at a food floor of a supermarket or the like, which can be re-sealed and looks expensive. <P>SOLUTION: The numeral 10 shows a container body filled with food and the numeral 20 shows a lid to be airtightly put on the container body 10 by screwing. The container body 10 comprises a barrel 30 and a frame 40 formed by injection-molding on an external surface of an opening end of the barrel 30. A thread 43 is formed on an external surface of a vertical part 42 of the frame 40. An inner lid film 50 having gas barrier properties is formed by heat-sealing on an upper surface of a flange 31 of the barrel 30. The lid 20 is formed by injection-molding and comprises a top face 21 covering an opening surface of the container body 10 and a skirt 22 hanging down along the periphery of the top face 21.
