<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plug for a beverage container for preventing the drop of a packing and for easily preventing the loss of the packing even if it drops. <P>SOLUTION: This packing 19 is provided with a water stop protrusion 22 which contacts the opening end 2A of a container body 2 and the back face 25 of the recess 20 of a plug 10 with each of its bottom face 26 and top face 27 for stopping water, a downwardly extended wall 23 which extends downward from the inside bottom end of the protrusion 22 and contacts the outside face of the inside wall 21 of the plug 10 with its inside face 29 for stopping water and an inwardly extended face 24 inwardly extended from the bottom end of the wall 23 from a position exceeding the bottom end 21A of the wall 21 of the plug 10. The large contact area between the wall 23 of the packing 19 and the inside wall 21 of the plug 10 makes it difficult for the packing to drop and liquid to leak. The packing 19 with a relatively large-sized vertical width and cross section area offers an increased visibility when it is in a single component condition and it makes the packing 19 difficult to be lost when it drops. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
