EQUIPMENT FOR TESTING IMPACT CHARACTERISTIC OF MESH WINDOW FOR BUILDING CONSTRUCTION

PURPOSE: A device for testing the shock resistance of a secure mesh window for a building construction is provided to suggest a standardization method and to set testing standard for the stability with respect to a secure mesh window because a deformation state is measure by adding shocks on the secure mesh window. CONSTITUTION: A device for testing the shock resistance of a secure mesh window for a building construction comprises a base frame(10), an impact applying unit, and a strain measuring unit. A secure mesh window(1) is fixed on the base frame. The impact applying unit applies loads to the secure mesh window. The strain measuring unit measures a strain of the secure mesh window caused by the shock applied by the impact applying unit. A test weight is connected to a support unit(21) by a wire(23).
