PURPOSE: An organic light emitting diode display device and a driving method thereof are provided to improve reliability by preventing malfunction in an initial lighting process. CONSTITUTION: A display panel(1) comprises a complex pixel region. A gate driving part(2) operates gate lines and light emitting control lines. A data driving part(3) operates data lines of the display panel. A power supply part(4) supplies first and second power source signals to power source lines of the display panel. The power supply part provides compensation voltage in a compensation power source line. A timing controller(5) controls the power supply part.
