The image forming apparatus includes a main body provided with a first electrical connecting part, an image carrying unit removably mounted in the main body and provided with a second electrical connecting part, and a guide device to guide the image carrying unit in an insertion direction and a lateral direction so that the second electrical connecting part of the image carrying unit is connected to the first electrical connecting part of the main body.
