PURPOSE: A voice coil motor is provided to improve the performance of a voice coil motor by forming a separation protection unit in a side board capable of preventing a flat magnet from being separated. CONSTITUTION: A movable element(200) includes a bobbin(210) having a hollow and a coil block(250) arranged in an outer circumference of the bobbin. Elastic members(300,400) are flexibly combined with the bobbin. A housing(690) includes an upper plate exposing the hollow and a side board extended from the edge of an upper plate. A stator(600) includes a flat magnet(610) and a housing. The housing includes a separation protection unit(636) for preventing a flat magnet from being separated to a direction facing the coil block from the side board.
