PURPOSE: A locking device of a sliding plug door for vehicles is provided to improve the durability of a door and to prevent an inflow of dust and vibrations of the door effectively. CONSTITUTION: A locking device of a sliding plug door for vehicles comprises a cylinder(12), a latch(15), a striker, and a valve control unit. The cylinder is installed to be rotated with a pin structure of a bracket. The bracket is fixed to one door of the two doors facing each other when the doors are closed. The latch is placed below the cylinder and installed to be rotated by a pin(13) of the bracket. One side of the latch is connected to a cylinder rod(14). The striker is fixed to the other door and a pin portion is stuck inside a groove portion(22) of the latch. The valve control unit supplies air pressures to the cylinder.
