A porous film is used as a cell culture substrate that is a scaffold for a spheroid. The porous film has a plurality of pores whose diameters gradually increase in a direction A. The diameters of the pores gradually increase from a first area P1 to a third area P3 in this order. The first to the third areas P1 to P3 are located on the porous film along the direction A. The diameters and depths of the pores increase in proportion to the distance in the direction A.
