PURPOSE: A content display device using a trace of eyes and a method thereof are provided to control a terminal by the eyes of a user. CONSTITUTION: An eye information detecting unit(201) detects eye information. The eye information comprises the direction of eye movement of a user. An attention/content mapping unit(202) generate a trace of attention using the detected eye information. The attention/content mapping unit maps the generated trace on text content. The attention/content mapping unit generates reading information which shows which part of the text content the user reads. A content control unit(203) controls text content based on the generated read information.
