PURPOSE: A molten steel discharge apparatus is provided to stably cover an opening with a cover unit because the cover unit is guided by a holding unit. CONSTITUTION: A molten steel discharge apparatus(100) comprises a discharge part(20) and a closing part(30). The discharge part is connected to a side of a furnace(10) and formed with an opening on the top and a discharge port on the bottom. The closing part, which covers the opening, comprises a cover unit(31) covered on the opening, a holding unit(32) projected on the top of the discharge part, a connecting unit with bottom hung on the holding unit, a compression unit(34), and a fixing unit(35) pressing the compression unit.
