PURPOSE: An iron ore washing system is provided to increase the purity of iron ore and thereby improve the quality of sintered ore and pig iron produced in a blast furnace. CONSTITUTION: An iron ore washing system comprises an iron ore transfer device(10), a cleaning liquid spray device(20), and an air jetting device(30). The cleaning liquid spray device sprays cleaning liquid to iron ore(1) transferred by the iron ore transfer device. The air jetting device blows air onto the iron ore cleaned with the cleaning liquid in order to control the moisture of the iron ore.
