PURPOSE: A method for manufacturing a flexible display device is provided to prevent cracks when a plastic substrate is separated from a carrier substrate. CONSTITUTION: A flexible substrate is formed on a carrier substrate. An element for realizing an image is formed on the flexible substrate(S430). The flexible substrate is peeled from the carrier substrate(S460). The carrier substrate is cut by a cell area wherein the flexible substrate is formed on the carrier substrate. A unit cell is formed. A sealant is coated on the peeled flexible substrate(S470).
