FIELD: process engineering. ^ SUBSTANCE: thin cast band has, at least, one microstructure selected from the group including polygonal ferrite, acicular ferrite, Widmanstatten pattern, bainite and martensite. Proposed method comprises forming the band in clearance between casting rolls, applying mix of water and oil on hot rolling stand rolls, passing thin cast band at temperature below 1100C through hot rolling stand from said rolls through entire stand in atmosphere with oxygen content lower than 5%. ^ EFFECT: surface roughness under 1,5 mcm and scale thickness under 10 mcm, reduced rack formation. ^ 28 cl, 5 dwg |
