FIELD: information technology. ^ SUBSTANCE: method of creating a catalogue of tabs on a server involves storing a hierarchical multilevel catalogue created in advance on a server, said catalogue having suggested categories and suggested tabs contained in said categories. A user is granted access to said catalogue through a device having access to a network and a web browser (hereinafter device) using a user interface. The user is connected to a personal account on the server after registration. Once user commands to supplement the catalogue reach the server from the device, the catalogue is supplemented with a personal category or a personal tab. The personal category or personal tab is placed in a suggested category or in the created personal category. The attribute of the personal category or personal tab is also altered. The personal category or personal tab is also deleted. The personal tab is also moved to another category. Data on all changes made are entered into the personal account of the user. The user is granted access to several classes of sets containing different sets of categories and tabs. ^ EFFECT: faster process of creating tabs on a server owing to provision of a catalogue structure with possibility of its supplementation with personal categories and tabs. ^ 13 cl, 10 dwg |
