The present invention refers to a system for protecting wind generators, which is formed by a housing and a worm system intended to move upwardly and downwardly the generator and inwardly and outwardly the cavity upon detecting adverse weather conditions. The generator is supported by a base which is upwardly and downwardly displaced by worms motorized by gears. This system may hide the blades of the generator when the wind is strong and may damage the generator, thus avoiding accidents caused by an excess in the blades spin speed.
