OXADIAZOANTHRACENE COMPOUNDS FOR THE TREATMENT OF DIABETES

Disclosed herein is an oxadiazoanthracene compound for formula (I) wherein rings B and C are not further substituted, R1 is -CO2H, R2 and R4 is hydrogen, and R5 is -O-CH2-(2,3-dicholorophenyl) and the other substituents are as defined within the specification. Processes for their preparation and compositions comprising said compounds are also disclosed. Such compounds are useful in the treatment and/or prevention of disorders and diseases wherein modulation of the human GLP-1 receptor is beneficial.
