<p>The method involves associating measurements corresponding to an object e.g. boat or aircraft, respectively at the level sensors (1a-1d) by utilizing the measurements taken by the sensors, to form mono-sensor tracks in a decentralized association phase. Values characterizing the mono-sensor tracks are estimated by using the measurements provided by the sensors, to form multi-sensor tracks in a centralized estimation phase. The sensors respectively position centers of associations zones of the mono-sensor tracks to positions estimated from the multi-sensor tracks.</p> |
