PURPOSE: A staircase passable wheelchair is provided to enable a user using a wheelchair to pass stairs or a stage-stepped place by him/herself. CONSTITUTION: A staircase passable wheelchair comprises: a frame consisting of an upper frame and a lower frame; a seat plate(100) installed on the upper frame; caterpillar units(200) installed in both lower sides of the lower frame; a first supporting unit(300) which maintains the horizontality of the seat plate; and a second angle control unit(110) for controlling the rotation angle of the seat plate. The caterpillar unit includes a pair of support brackets(210), a drive sprocket(220a), a driven sprocket(220b), a caterpillar(230), a drive motor(240), and a chain.
