METHOD FOR OPERATIONAL COMPLEX RESEARCH OF THALASSOPLANKTON GROUPINGS

A method for operational complex research of thalassoplankton groupings comprises studying the variability of biophysical parameters using an instrumentation complex of gathering experimental data collection, comprising a hydrobiophysical sounding for vertical sounding of aquatic environment. As a result of multiple vertical sounding by a hydrobiophysical sound, data on the vertical structuredness of the plankton groupings are obtained. On the basis of analysis thereof horizons with the maximum gradients of biophysical parameters of the environment are selected for the further research. At the selected horizons data collection is carried out by means of simultaneous horizontal towing of the hydrobiophysical sound and a unit for collecting quantitative samples of zoo- and ichtioplanlton.
