PURPOSE: A method for evaluating centerline segregation of a continuous casted slab is provided to obtain the image of high resolution about ultra-low sulfur steel among slabs and to enable a user to check center segregation with naked eyes. CONSTITUTION: A method for evaluating centerline segregation of a continuous casted slab comprises next steps. A slab is dipped in the etching solution. After the etching is completed, the attachment of the slab is washed. The silicone grease spreads on the surface of the slab. The silicone grease is removed, and the etched surface on which the silicone grease spreads is grinded.
