PURPOSE: A floating dock is provided to help stable docking or unloading of a ship because of less shaking against waves. CONSTITUTION: A floating dock comprises a floating member(10), a mooring device(20), a skirt(30), and folding unit. The floating member has a docking unit(11) which is exposed above the sea surface(100) and a hollow part(12) for providing buoyancy. The mooring device fixes the floating member on the seafloor(101). The skirt is provided on the seafloor side of the floating member in order to prevent the shaking of the floating member against waves. The folding unit folds the skirt down in order to reduce the resistance of the floating member being moved. The folding unit comprises a hinge which allows the floating member and the skirt to rotate and first and second tendons(42) which are connected between the seafloor side of the floating member and the seafloor side of the skirt.
