An asynchronous electric motor comprises a housing, wherein a stator and a rotor are installed (the rotor is made short-circuited), the stator comprises a laminated core composed from sheets of electrotechnical steel, with windings, installed in the slots of magnetic core. The coils of winding have short-cut overhangs. Length of the stator overhangs is chosen taking into account a coupling coefficient. |
