PURPOSE: A non-contact type braking device for a wheel is provided to reduce noise and dust caused in braking according as generating braking force with eddy current generating in a thread of a wheel. CONSTITUTION: A non-contact type braking device for a wheel comprises a brake shoe(120), winding coils(140), and a current control unit. The brake shoe is installed in a brake head. The winding coils are installed in the brake shoe. The current control unit controls the current supplied to the winding coils.
