PURPOSE: A system for approaching and separating from a pier is provided to make the movement of a tugboat free since a part of a wall facility can rotationally or vertically descend. CONSTITUTION: A system for approaching and separating from a pier comprises a guide wall(110), a first roller fender(120) and a second roller fender(130). For a tugboat(2) to make free movement, the guide wall rotationally or vertically enters the water. The first roller fender is installed along both inner sides of the guide wall. The first roller fender prevents a ship from colliding with the guide wall and guides the location of the ship. The second roller fender is installed on both inner sides of the guide wall. The second roller fender makes contact with the ship and helps the ship to enter and exit from the guide wall.
